This Privacy Policy explains how SD Sports Rohtak handles personal information in connection with sdsportsrohtak.com, product enquiries and purchases.

2. Information we handle

• Enquiries: your name, contact details and messages that you send by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram.

• Accounts: registration and account information if you choose to create an account where that option is available.
• Transactions: order totals, payment status and transaction references associated with your purchase.
• Website activity: cart and session information. Hosting and website services may also process technical records such as IP address, browser information, pages requested and error logs.

Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry or order. Do not send card security codes, passwords, UPI PINs or one-time passwords in messages.

3. How information is used

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, help with product selection, maintain shopping carts, process orders, arrange delivery, provide order updates, handle support and returns, and maintain business records. Technical information may be used to operate the website, resolve errors and help prevent misuse or fraud.

Your choices: Providing information for an enquiry or order is not blanket consent to unrelated uses. Where consent is required, we will seek it for the specified purpose. You may decline optional information or withdraw consent by contacting us. We may be unable to complete an order or respond to an enquiry without information essential to that service.

Information needed to provide these services may be handled by website hosting, ecommerce, email, payment and delivery providers. For example, a courier needs delivery details, while a payment provider needs transaction information. We limit disclosure to information reasonably necessary for the relevant service, subject to applicable law.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or a lawful request, or where necessary to address fraud, disputes or security incidents.

Some providers may process information on servers outside India. Any transfer we arrange must meet applicable legal requirements and appropriate protection requirements. External platforms you choose to use also have their own privacy terms.

5. Online payments

When an online payment method is enabled and selected at checkout, the payment provider processes the information needed for that transaction under its own privacy terms. SD Sports receives relevant order and payment-status information for fulfilment and support.

Review the provider shown at checkout before entering payment information. Do not share payment credentials with us through phone calls, email or social messages.

6. Cookies and cart sessions

The website uses WooCommerce for its shopping functions. WooCommerce uses cookies to recognise a cart session and detect changes to cart contents. Account and other enabled website features may use additional cookies.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the cart, account login or checkout. Browser cookie controls do not delete information already included in an order.

If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will explain their purposes and provide notices and consent controls where required. This policy does not itself activate such technologies or record cookie consent.

7. WhatsApp, Instagram and Google links

Our Contact Us form prepares a message using the name, enquiry topic and message you enter. Selecting “Continue on WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp with this information in a prefilled message; you review and send it there. The form passes the prepared text to WhatsApp through its link; it does not itself email your enquiry or save it as a website form submission.

When you follow links to WhatsApp, Instagram or our Google location, you use those external services. They may process information under their own privacy policies. Messages you send to our business accounts are used to respond to you.

8. Keeping information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, accounting, tax requirements and resolving disputes. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, subject to lawful retention requirements and backup cycles. If we must retain information following a deletion request, we will explain the relevant reason where permitted.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can contact us to ask about information relating to you, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Where processing relies on your consent, you can request to withdraw it. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law and any record-keeping obligations.

We may need sufficient information to verify a request and locate the relevant records. Please initially provide your contact details and, where relevant, an order number rather than unnecessary identity documents. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing a service that needs that information; it does not automatically require deletion of records we must lawfully retain. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable law.

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including restricting access to those who need it for authorised purposes. No website or communication method can guarantee complete security. If a security incident occurs, we will assess it and make notifications required by applicable law. Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month of receipt. Privacy requests will be handled within applicable legal time limits. Verification or lawful retention requirements may affect whether a particular request can be fulfilled.
